Apple opens pre-orders for the iPhone Duo on Friday, October 16 at 8am ET, and it goes on sale October 23. Starting Monday, October 12, you can set up your order ahead of time in the Apple Store app or on apple.com. You pick your color, storage, carrier and payment method in advance, so checkout is faster on pre-order day.
The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable iPhone. It starts at $1,999, or $83.29 a month for 24 months, and comes in star white and night sky with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB of storage.
How to buy it for Vetra
The iPhone Duo works on Vetra if it is unlocked. When you set up your order, pay in full and pick the option to connect to a carrier later. That gets you an unlocked phone.
If you pay monthly through Apple, check the carrier requirement at checkout. Apple's lease program needs a plan with one of the big carriers and doesn't allow prepaid.
